Welcome to the web site of the Office of the Compiler of Laws. Our intent is to provide as a public service, free access to the statutes, laws, court decisions, agency rules and regulations, Executive Orders issued by the Governor, and opinions of the Attorney General. These instruments were prepared and enacted by elected and appointed officials and the dissemination of this public information is vitally important to our democratic society.

At the moment, this web site contains only the Guam Code Annotated, Guam Administrative Rules and Regulations (1997 edition) and a link to the opinions of the Supreme Court. Eventually it will contain all the publications of the Compiler of Laws. Nearly as important is the official compilation and publication of the opinions of the Supreme Court of Guam in the Guam Reports. Presently, filed opinions of the Supreme Court are not officially published.

Our duty to provide, accurate and timely, updates to the Guam Code Annotated and to officially publish court opinions, Executive Orders, Attorney General opinions and the agency rules and regulations is taken very seriously. We intend to accomplish this duty with minimal expenditures of public funds.

The updating of the Guam Code is a continual work in progress. We welcome wholeheartedly your criticisms, comments and suggestions on how to improve the Guam Code Annotated or errors you discover. Thank you for visiting our web site and we hope to hear from you soon.
